India won by eight points over fierce rivals Pakistan in their Commonwealth cricket match.

Opener Smriti Mandhana shot 63 of 42 balls as India chased Pakistan’s 99 total with 38 balls in reserve.

Pakistan, India’s non-bowling rivals, were eliminated with the last ball of their inning, reduced to 18 rounds because of rain at Edgbaston.

Indian crank Sneh Rana starred, winning 2-15 in the Group A match.
