Commonwealth Games 2022 Day 9 Live Updates: Boxers Amit Panghal, Nitu In Final; Priyanka Wins 10km Silver

Commonwealth Games 2022, updated live on 9: Two Indian boxers Amit Panghal (men’s flyweight) and Nitu Ghangas have reached the final of the minimum weight division in boxing. Five other Indians including Amit Panghal and Nikhat Zareen will also feature in the semi-finals. After the wrestlers grabbed the limelight with three gold medals on Day 8, the Indian team expects more medals on Day 9. In wrestling, Vinesh Phogat and Ravi Kumar will compete. India’s women’s cricket team will also be in focus when they face England in the semi-final of Edgbaston, Birmingham. If Harmanpreet Kaur leads the way to victory in the competition, at least one silver medal will be guaranteed. India’s men’s hockey team will also face South Africa later in the day in the semi-finals. In the men’s quarterfinal gold medal match on grass, India will face Ireland.
In badminton, PV Sindhu, Kidambi Srikanth and Lakshya Sen will compete in singles quarterfinals. Star table tennis players such as Achanta Sharath Kamal and Manika Batra will also participate. I also know, Dipika Pallikal and Saurav Ghosal will be participating.
