Commonwealth Games 2022 Day 7 Live Updates: PV Sindhu Advances To Singles Rd of 16, Hima Das Enters 200m Semis

Commonwealth Games, Day 7, Live Update: Hima Das reached the semi-finals of the women’s 200 m while shooter PV Sindhu won the women’s singles round of 32 match. The Indian team has so far won 18 medals at the ongoing Commonwealth Games, including five golds. On the seventh day of the ongoing event, stars like Dipika Pallikal (squash) and Amit Panghal (boxing) will participate. Three other boxers also participated in the quarterfinals. All are guaranteed medals if they reach the semi-finals. Also, the men’s hockey team will face Wales, and it will be crucial in terms of their chances of going through to the semi-finals. After that, Murali Sreeshankar will also attend the men’s long jump final. He was a top medal contender as he qualified for the final with the best jump out of all the competitors in qualifying. In other athletics, hammer throwing qualifiers were taking place while India’s Manju Bala and Sarita Singh were competing.
