BOGOTA, March 23 (Reuters) – An aircraft operated by the Colombian Air Force went down shortly after becoming airborne in a remote area of the nation’s southern Amazon territory on Monday, according to a statement from the air force. Military sources indicated that rescue operations had successfully recovered 71 of the 125 individuals who had been aboard the vessel at the time of the incident.
