The crypto sector, which surpassed a $1 trillion market cap this week, is seeing bullish sentiment with a flurry of new investors entering the digital asset sector. . Indian exchange CoinDCX on Monday, January 23 launched a crypto awareness initiative for Indian industries and investors. The name of this initiative is ‘Namaste Web3’. On the other hand, international crypto exchange Binance has decided to enter 2023 with a Web3 scholarship program that will attract 30,000 people.
With India and many other countries, which are working to develop legislation around the cryptocurrency sector, there will be more people willing to participate in trading and investment instruments.
CoinDCXwith its awareness initiative, is looking to inform potential crypto investors about the risks and benefits of pouring money into digital assets.
“web3 . technology opened a huge white space for innovators and builders. However, the mass adoption of this technology can only happen through continuing education. Through Namaste Web3, we are giving the ecosystem voice and visibility to increase public awareness of the use cases and benefits of this technology,” said Sumit Gupta, Co-Founder and CoinDCX CEO said in a statement.
Road shows around crypto awareness will be held in various Indian cities including Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Jaipur, Pune, Indore and Kolkata.
Workshop on what to expect from Web3 and how to build decentralized applications (dAapps) blockchain usage will also be part of Namaste Web3.
While this initiative goes live in India, exchanges decided to take crypto awareness to a global level with the Binance Charity Scholars Program (BCSP). More than 30,000 people will be eligible for blockchain training and scholarships as part of this program.
BCSP will host developer training courses on how to use Web3 to create advanced, next-generation applications and platforms.
The University of Western Australia, the University of Nicosia in Cyprus, the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in Germany and the Utiva Center of Technology in Nigeria have agreed to participate as educational partners in the BCSP initiative.
