Season 2 of the DMZ has changed modes significantly, but Season 3 is set to deliver some of the best improvements.

Activision describes safe backpacks as packs that allow the player to secure “non-contraband, non-soldier items” in your inventory that will convert to XP upon mining, meaning items of great value Values and quest items can be looted at random. In addition, the items in the backpack are safely kept Active duty soldier if they are removed in the Mining Zone. As the name suggests, the scavenger backpack simply provides additional item slots for players who want to do a lot of scavenging.

According to the blog, the DMZ’s armored armor will come in four variations in Season 3, allowing options that cater to a variety of playstyles.

  • practise: Works like Warzone 1’s load plate. Player’s armor will be two halves instead of three thirds, making it easier and more efficient to recover from a battle
  • Revival: The three-piece first aid vest helps teammates respawn faster, as well as self-reviving faster when using the self-revival kit
  • Communicate: The contact vest is like a signal amplifier. It increases the duration of all UAV technology in the DMZ (killstreaks, UAV towers, and AI-dropped enemy radios) and makes them act as enhanced UAVs, meaning they also show the direction and location of the person. play
  • Invisible: Stealth carriers are built-in with Ghost skills, helping players avoid enemy radar.

For all the scavengers in the DMZ, Season 3 will add a new barter system. This is not a player-to-player transaction, but a way to trade goods at the Buying Station. The DMZ’s trade uses recipes, which are lists of ingredients needed to craft new gear from items picked up from the map.

These new recipes are found at the Buy Stations on the map. The launch of Season 3 will include recipes for some of the DMZ’s new carriers and backpacks, kill streaks, self-revival kits, and keys. However, each of Building 21 and Ashika Island locations will have their own unique set of trade-in options on its Buying Stations, meaning players may need to switch to a different map for a specific item.

Activision says there are dozens of item trade-in combinations that will debut in Season 3, and these are setup recipes that can be memorized to make them easy to share with teammates and find specific items.

In addition to crafting recipes, Season 3 adds a workbench feature. DMZ Desks will be new locations found near Purchase Stations. This new feature will allow players to modify their Contraband weapons. Players can spend cash to add or remove attachments, customizing each weapon piece.

Finally, players can look forward to two more useful items for the new season: The Rebreather and the Skeleton Key. Rebreather, the tank item featured in the first Raid episode of Modern Warfare 2, will be added as a field upgrade in Season 3 of the DMZ. This will help players looking for underwater loot or benefit those looking to escape underwater.

The Skeleton Key is the key that can open any door in the DMZ, with the sole exception of Building 21’s Access Key Card. Activision says that although the player cannot use it to unlock Building 21 to deployed, but they can open any door that requires a keycard or key in Building 21 or other Exclusion Zones. Skeleton Keys can only be generated through a special trade-in recipe.
