CoD: Warzone 2.0 and the DMZ Stronghold and the Dark Site Guide
Call of Duty: War Zone 2.0 is live now, and the sequel includes brand new Fort locations for battle royale and a DMZ ripping mode. Here we break down everything you need to know about Warzone’s new high-level loot zone, so you can equip yourself with some of the best gear in the game.
New Fortress feature explained
Strongholds are buildings filled with loot and high-level cash, but they’re carefully guarded by AI enemies. There can be 77 Fort slots on Al Mazrah, but only a few trigger slots per match. These buildings exist in both battle royale and DMZ, but they work differently for both modesso it is important to know the difference between these two.
At the end of the first round of battle royale collapse, the Fortress is activated on the map and does not require any keys to access. There will only be three active Forts on the map at any given time. Strongholds are marked on the map as a large castle icon. The first team to reach a bomb must defuse the bomb there before time runs out. After that, the goal of all other Strongholds is simply to kill a specific amount of AI enemies, but any players you encounter will count towards the required total.
Warzone’s Dark Sites
The Black site is exclusively for battle royale. The first player or team to complete a Warzone Fort will be given a key to access the Black Location location, which is essentially an even more deadly form of Fort. Black Places are placed on the map as skull symbols. These locations contain significantly tougher AI enemies, including a Juggernaut boss holding a minigun.
Completing the Black Site for the first time also rewards you with a permanent weapon blueprint to use in all modes. It also gives you a lot of gear to use in battle, which can include shotguns, durable gas masks, load-reducing devices as well as permanent UAVs to ping enemies in the area around the Venue. Black until that area is lost. circle collapse.
it’s remarkable clearing the Fort after completing the first one will give you nice rewards, but you won’t earn Black website key for your efforts. If you’re not the first to conquer the Fort, you still have the option to steal the key from the enemy that has already won it.
In the DMZ, Forts are marked as castle icons on the map just like in battle royale, but they are available immediately instead of activating mid-match. This version of the Fortress is also a locked building and can only be accessed with a keycard. The keys are found randomly by looting or they can be purchased from Buy Stations for $5,000. You’ll want to save your cash, though, as keycards drop quite often, especially if you’re killing AIs in the general vicinity of the Fort. Keycards are very small, but you will easily spot them on the ground because they have a blue light around them.
After you gain access to the Fort, complete the building’s objective to get your reward. The majority of Forts will only require you to kill all AI enemies, but some have objectives like breaking the safe with a drill and you’ll need to defend the position against AI reinforcements trying to storm. into the Fort in the process.
Completing these DMZ Strongholds will reward the same loot as battle royale with items, such as kill streaks, triple plate armor, self respawn ability, etc.
Regardless of what mode you’re playing in, I’d definitely recommend making sure you have extra armor plates. You’ll also want to do ammo field upgrades, so you always have enough ammo to fight your way through all the AI enemies. Some Strongholds have more AI than others, and strongholds located in areas with lots of crowded buildings may have more bots to shoot.
Season 1 features a new weapon that can be unlocked for use in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0, and here it is Instructions for unlocking the M13B assault rifle in DMZ . mode.
