A trendy cocktail company has broken its silence after one of its male waiters was allegedly ‘touched’ by Karl Stefanovic at a charity gala.

The TV presenter, 48, made headlines on Thursday when Queensland police confirmed they were investigating reports of an alleged attack on a man at a cancer fundraiser. blackmail at the Mercedes-Benz showroom in Brisbane’s Newstead on August 20.

Stefanovic, the organizer of the six-hour event, and Nine Network have so far declined to comment, but police said on Tuesday that no charges have been filed and investigations are still underway.

It can now be revealed that the man in question served Mr. Conscious at the cancer fundraiser, A Night For Melanoma, on the evening of the alleged incident.

The company specializes in cocktail machines and provides bar services for private events.

A business spokesman said in a statement to Daily Mail Australia: ‘Mr. Consistently prioritized the safety of their employees and any police investigation, and declined to comment on any of the allegations. ‘

It is understood that detectives collected a report from at least one person during the fundraiser.

Daily Mail Australia is not accusing Stefanovic of any wrongdoing.

Meanwhile, the married father-of-four continued to host the Today show without mentioning the alleged incident.

The event was organized by charity group The Six Hour Project, which raised a whopping $290,000 for melanoma research.

Stefanovic attended with his wife, Jasmine Yarbrough, and was photographed mingling with guests and posing for pictures with organizers and fans at the gala dinner – mostly while wearing a hat white baseball with the letter ‘f**k cancer’.

At one stage, he tried to entice guests onto the dance floor by shouting ‘come on… wake up’ into the microphone of Chic’s ’70s disco hit ‘Le Freak’.

He also posed for a selfie next to melanoma patient and event organizer, Gina Savage.

‘Gina, courage, resilience and beauty,’ he wrote on social media.

‘We’re just lifting the roof for you, your battles, your charity and all the others battling melanoma.’

Ms Savage previously appeared in a Today show interview with Stefanovic to tell the story of her diagnosis before the pair reunited for the fundraiser.

The Australian reported that some attendees did not see any change take place and Stefanovic left the event in good spirits.

One said: “Karl is truly a legend all the time.

The allegations came after Stefanovic was photographed at Sydney airport on Wednesday after returning to Australia from Britain – after being dispatched to London on September 13 to cover the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
