Berlin police said they met “several people” in an area not open to the public, after unauthorized access by activists, with some glued to the ground.

Activists from the environmental group Last Generation, who say a 70-year-old man was among those involved, were also seen cycling through the shunt area – which shuts down traffic. not stalled.

The video shows members of the group climbing over a wire fence that had been cut to reach the runway.

“One percent of the affluent population is responsible for about half of flight-related greenhouse gas emissions.”
