Six games, that’s it.

Deshaun Watson was only suspended from the sox game for violating the league’s personal conduct policy after being accused of sexual misconduct, disciplinary officer Sue L. Robinson ruled Monday, according to many reports.

Browns QB, who signed a $230 million contract fully guarantee this season to play in Cleveland will not be penalized according to the reports.

Watson will be eligible to return to the field when the Browns play in Baltimore on October 23.

What makes matters worse, Watson will only lose a fraction of a $1 million base salary by 2022, or about $350k. Starting in 2o23, he will earn $46 million per year through 2026.

The NFL Players Association, was reportedly a statement that it would “side” with Robinson’s ruling and urged the NFL to do the same.

The NFL or NFLPA has up to three days to appeal the decision.

Here’s a bit of history from ESPN:

Watson has been accused of sexual assault and inappropriate conduct during a massage in a civil lawsuit filed by 25 women. The encounters cited in the lawsuits took place between March 2020 and March 2021, while Watson was a member of the Houston Texans. One of the 25 lawsuits was dropped following a judge’s ruling in April 2021 that the plaintiffs needed to amend the lawsuit to reveal their names. In June, Watson settled 20 of the 24 lawsuits he is facing; on Monday, he agreed to settle three of the remaining four cases, according to Houston attorney Tony Buzbee, who represents the women suing Watson.
