Clear Creek Stud will again be donating a $5,000 Scholarship on behalf of their client to a college student with connections to the Louisiana-based Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse Racing and Breeding Industry.
“We wanted to help the kids from these families who put in the long hours and hard work needed to keep our industry going,” said Val Murrell, in general.

Scholarship recipients will be selected by the Louisiana Residents’ Protection and Benevolence Association (LaHBPA) and based on their opinions and assessment of need and merit.

Recipients will be named on the last day of the meeting at Fair Grounds, Sunday, March 27, 2022.
