CLAIM: Elon Musk gets tested with banned Babylon Bees before Twitter Splurge

Elon Musk doesn’t always follow the rules that signal virtue.

Celebrities flex their social media accounts to take a stance on anything from the invasion of Ukraine to the mislabeled “Don’t Say Gay” law in Florday.

That’s more or less where it ends.

  • No action
  • No results
  • No consequences

Musk, Unofficial King of Cryptocurrency, often beyond those measures. Billionaire Tesla recently wondered through his Twitter account about challenging the platform’s dominance in the digital realm.

Many Twitter users complained that the company’s gatekeepers punished users with centre-right or opposing views. Meanwhile, progressives roam virtually free with impunity.

When a former US president can’t Tweet but important voices in Iran aren’t so sanctioned, you know there’s a problem. Twitter also banned the New York Post’s blockbuster story about Hunter Biden’s laptop, collusion with the mainstream media to misname it “Fake News”.

It helps explain why Musk tweeted on his social media giant (80 million and so on) about the subject.

The replies on Twitter may have won him over, as he quickly jumped into action, becoming Twitter’s largest shareholder with 9.2 shares in the company. Now, we’re looking at an intriguing factor in Musk’s decision.

Seth Dillon, CEO of The Babylon Bee, shared this message on Instagram and Twitter on Tuesday, showing that Musk’s interest in restoring the platform’s potential for free speech is real.

Babylon bee Twitter account banned by Twitter late last month after the satirical website shared a fake story claiming Rachel Levine was “Man of the Year”. Levine, a transgender woman, is currently President Joe Biden’s Assistant Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS).

Bee refused to take down the Tweet in question, meaning the Twitter suspension is permanent.

Can Musk change that? Last year, this billionaire sat down with Team Bee to conduct a wide-ranging interview, so the two sides are no longer strangers.

Musk has suggested that he will pressure Twitter to add an “edit” button to the Tweet, something many users have requested in recent years.

Will he stop there? Could he take more aggressive measures with his current Twitter position? Would he bring more balance to a platform with a clear liberal agenda?

A man can send people into space and host the country’s most venerable comedy show that can do anything.
