CJI Chandrachud to be conferred with ‘Award for Global Leadership’ by Harvard Law School Center | India News

NEW DELHI: Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud has been selected by the Harvard Law School Center for the “Global Leadership Award” in recognition of his lifelong dedication to the legal profession in the country and around the world.
The award will be presented to him at an online event on January 11.
Chandrachud holds an LLM and a Doctor of Legal Science (SJD) degree from Harvard Law School in the United States.
At the event, Harvard Law School professor David Wilkins will also have a chat with CJI.
Judge Chandrachud, who has served as a member of the highest courts that have delivered a number of landmark rulings, including the land dispute in Ayodhya, was sworn in as the 50th CJI on 9 May. 11 year 2022.
