Muncy and Velasco are relaxing at the bar after a tiring day at work. Muncy mentions in this EXCLUSIVE preview of the March 30 episode of Law & Order: SVU that her brother was in the neighborhood and wanted to drop by. Muncy says that her brother, Teddy, wants to see Velasco. “So, does that mean you were talking about me?” Velasco said flirtatiously. Muncy laughed and said, “Don’t flatter yourself.”
Bruno walked in with Churlish, and Muncy wasn’t really thrilled to see her. Velasco tells Muncy to “relax” a bit about Churlish. “After she introduced you to Benson, were you serious? Give me a good reason,” Muncy said. Velasco has two reasons for her: Benson likes her and Bruno trusts her.
Bruno spotted Muncy and Velasco from across the room, and Churlish said she wasn’t going there. Bruno begs Churlish to stay and goes there. Let the past be the past. She’s thinking about telling Benson she wants to go back to the Bronx. The drink is on him.
He urged Churlish to buy Muncy and Velasco a drink. A guy sits down at the bar and tries to make small talk with her. He wants to buy him a drink, but she refuses him. Churlish opened up fairly quickly about the business situation with Muncy and Velasco.
The guy knows exactly who Churlish is talking about. Muncy told him about the “straightforward cop who only tolerates what she finds pleasant.” That’s because he’s Muncy’s brother, Teddy. Things got even more awkward for Churlish. Can Teddy be the one to mend things between Churlish and Muncy?!
