After the success of Nurlan Bizakov in Lagardere, it is the turn of another rising force in the French livestock industry Yeguada Centurion to enjoy the limelight as Blue Rose Cen (Ire) (Churchill {Ire}) lit up ParisLongchamp during the G1 Qatar Prix Marcel Boussac. Win by track and distance in the G3 Prix d’Aumale on September 8, intern Christopher Head had the perfect pull to third as Aurelien Lemaitre contained her enthusiasm. Loosening up with 300 meters left, the house breed clearly rose for a five-way success from outsider Jim Bolger Liver Teorainn (Ire) (Saxon Warrior {Jpn}), with The never ending story (Ire) (Dubawi {Ire}) a short third way.
This was Christopher Head’s first group of 1 and his famous family was around him then. It happened that the year Freddy retired was not lost on his father. “It was a funny thing,” Chief Sr. said. “I am happy for him. He is in the fifth generation and I hope to have many more successes.”
