Sailor Brinkley Cook Coupled with her gorgeous mother again! Daughter of former swimsuit supermodel Christie BrinkleyThe 68-year-old was seen holding her mother’s hand at the Michael Kors show during New York Fashion Week on Wednesday, September 14, and they were both resplendent in pink! More importantly, they are identical. While Christie opted for a pale pink lace midi tie dress with a matching jacket top and nude boots, Sailor went Full Bariecore in a hot pink midi dress and white boots. They both wear those soft, yellow waves that Christie made famous for simply!
In one photo, mother and daughter duo lookalike nuzzled their cheeks as they sat along the runway and smiled as they took pictures. In another, Christie went solo while posing and flashing her famous smile. And in a third, they hold hands as they stand shoulder to shoulder.
This isn’t the first time Sailor’s significant resemblance to her mother has been put on display. Back in August, the young model took to Instagram to show off her new bangs that also carry the twin element. “Sometimes you just explode,” she captioned the post boldly, along with four photos of her new look.
Sailor, whose father is Christie’s ex-lover Peter Cook, seems to have no problem stepping into her mother’s shoes as a model. Although she often brags in little bikinisTurns out she wasn’t that confident in the beginning.
“I grew up looking at these pictures of my mom, never thought I would be able to To do it,” she told EVERYONE magazine back in September 2017. “To be compared to my mother who has this extremely successful career under her belt when I was just getting started? And let people say I’ll never get what she has or what she is. I’m not trying to be her. But I’m fine. I don’t get hurt by these things,” she continued. “It was just a surreal moment for me because I was looking for it all SI model and my mother – they have always been my inspiration. “
