Chris Rock57 years old, still joking about the scandal Will Smith slap at the 2022 Oscars in his comedy shows. Just hours before Chris’s latest reported comments, Will put on YouTube to share a video of him publicly apologizing for the slap and answering fans’ questions about the scandalous moment. “I’ve reached out to Chris and the message back is he’s not ready to talk and when that happens, he’ll get in touch,” he said in the video. “So I’ll tell you, Chris, I’m sorry. My behavior is unacceptable. “

“I want to apologize to Chris’ mother,” he continued. “I was watching an interview that Chris’ mom did. And that’s one of the things about that moment that I didn’t realize. I don’t think but how many people were injured in that moment. So I’d like to apologize to Chris’s mother. I would like to apologize to Chris’ family. Especially Tony Rock. We had a great relationship. Tony Rock is my man. And this is something that is perhaps irreparable.”

Will’s apology comes after Chris reported to a crowd, “I’m not a victim” when talking about the slap at another comedy show in New Jersey on July 24. “Yeah, it hurts, mom,” he also said on the show. “I shake it off and go to work the next day… I don’t go to the hospital to cut the paper.” He also added, “” Anyone who says ‘hurtful words’ has never been punched in the face. “
