Chris Eubank Jr perfect landing on heavyweight in scrims
Chris Eubank Jr showed fans a behind-the-scenes look at his training camp ahead of the game against Liam Smith.
Domestic rivals face off in Sports sky debut at the box office in 2023, and it is clear that Eubank is getting ready.
In his latest fencing footage, the 160lber from Brighton appears to be fighting a few rounds with a heavyweight partner.
Eubank can be seen in the clip demonstrating his maneuverability and deft defense, dodging a top-down hit before landing right on the button. His caption was ‘hit and not hit’.

He will enter the ring with a 32-2 record with 23 knockdowns, losses to George Groves and Billy Joe Saunders.
In another corner, Smith also had 32 wins, but lost another one. He fell to Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez, Jaime Munguia and, somewhat controversially, Magomed Kurbanov.
The fight creates a turning point for Eubank, 33, and Smith, 34 – both have made it clear they want to win and progress to the challenge for world titles. Failure at this stage of your career is certainly not catastrophic, but it also doesn’t bode well for the future.
The pair went into the match with extreme confidence, with Smith exhilarated after a historic duel and the ever-smug Eubank claiming he only needed to perform at 50%.
There is a rematch clause on one side, so if the Liverpool boxer wins then Eubank will have the right to trigger a second match. For his part, Smith is fine with this – claiming he will beat him once this month and then do the same at Anfield Stadium at the end of the year.
The action takes place January 21 at the AO Arena in Manchester and live on Sky Sports Box Office.
