Smith (32-3-1, 19 KOs) is up against that, going up against the bigger, stronger, faster, and more skilled Eubank Jr (32-2, 23 KOs) in the middle. The battle will be displayed live on DAZN.

If Smith, 34, can find a way to win, it will be a huge disappointment and it will affect Eubank Jr’s plans in 2023 to battle the likes of Gennadiy Golovkin and Conor Benn.
“Disliking each other. It’s not one of those stupid dislikes that they’ll probably like later on,” promoter Kalle Sauerland told. iFL TV about the real dislikes of Chris Eubank Jr and Liam Smith.
“There’s dislike because they’re different characters, and that comes in, even if you’re not a fan of boxing and don’t want to watch the match. You watch it because it’s an analysis of the personalities of two very different people. It is highly entertaining.

“We don’t know about Conor. We know he can smash, and we know he’s a very interesting young boxer. Liam Smith has been at the top level in the world and we know he’s tough and we know it’s a really live fight.
“People always ask me, ‘What’s next?’ Let’s get past Liam Smith first. It’s a big fight, it’s a hugely important war. We expect it to set for an epic year, but it’s been a tough fight.
“At the top of the list, [Gennadiy] Golovkin,” Kalle said when asked if he wants to fight Eubank Jr in 2023. “If he is ready to fight. [Conor Benn], sure. If he can’t fight, absolutely not.
“Billy Joe Saunders is out there, coming back, I hear the rumours, it’s a fight everyone is calling for. There are also world titles,” Kalle said of his hopes for this year’s Eubank Jr.
