Chopped Up Body Found In Delhi Day After 2 Arrested Over Terror Links: Sources
New Delhi:
Delhi Police today found a fragmented body in North Delhi based on information provided by two men arrested on terrorism charges. According to eyewitnesses, the body was found chopped into more than three pieces.
The Delhi Police Special Cell arrested two men from the Bhalswa Milk area on Saturday on suspicion of ties to terrorist organisations.
During the investigation, two defendants – Jagjit Singh alias Jagga and Naushad – revealed the location of the chopped up body in an empty lot in the Bhalswa area.
The arrest was made ahead of Republic Day celebrations in the national capital. Two hand grenades, three pistols and 22 live magazines were recovered from the defendant’s possession, police said.
Police say that Jagga may be linked to a Khalistani terrorist based in Canada, while Naushad is suspected of being linked to the terrorist organization ‘Harkat ul-Ansar’.
