- 1 1/2 cups unsweetened almond milk
- 1/3 cup chia seeds
- ¼ cup cocoa or unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3-5 tbsp. maple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon. sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Method
Place all ingredients, except sweetener, in a bowl and mix until well combined. If you are not using a mixer, add maple syrup at this stage.
Leave the mixture in the refrigerator overnight or at least 5 hours (until the mixture has a pudding-like texture).

If using a mixer, put the mixture in a blender and beat until it becomes smooth and completely creamy.
Serve cold with chopped fruit, granola or coconut milk.
