China zero-Covid: Hope and worry in Beijing as key policies scrapped
Life is returning to normal on the streets of Beijing after major changes to China’s most severe Covid policies.
It comes just a week after protests against strict control measures – including forcing people into quarantine camps.
Locals have expressed hope and anxiety about their decision to abandon key policies that have dominated their lives for nearly three years.
