Entropy Center is an upcoming first-person sci-fi puzzle adventure game revealed for the first time at the Future Games Expo in June. Set to hit PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC this year, the game quickly caught my attention when I first saw its trailer. .
It has many of the features of the Portal, which is always a plus and the only premise: go back in time on objects inside an abandoned space station to determine how to stop Earth and people on it went extinct. “Players take on the game’s protagonist, Aria, as she awakens inside the bowels of a massive space station – the Entropy Center – in close Earth orbit. Two immediate problems face her: The Earth has burned from an extinction-level event, and the Entropy Center itself appears abandoned and on the verge of impending doom. With the aid of ASTRA – a talking gun capable of moving objects back in time – Aria is able to restore the facility’s collapsed bridges, reassemble destroyed roads, and cross Ingenious puzzles make their way to the heart of the Entropy Center in hopes of surviving this seemingly doomsday space station, and somehow, finding its way home.
“The truth behind the impending collapse of the Entropy Center, and the doom of the Earth, can be found at the heart of this vast facility. But will Aria accept the unfortunate truth that awaits her? “
