If you like to use Google Bard And ChatGPT but wish they could do more to help you manage your life, the newly announced ChatGPT for Me tool might be just what you need.
provided by OpenAI’s Latest GPT-4 Template, ChatGPT for me (opens in a new tab) will be an upgrade to the existing Rewind Mac app. Once installed, Rewind records everything you do, see, and hear on your Mac, from the websites you visit, the words you type, what is said in video calls. in which you participate; all recorded by Rewind and stored locally on your PC.
While this level of tracking may sound rather invasive, the advantage of it is that you can then use Rewind to rewind your timeline and retrace your digital footsteps. Try to remember where you saw that amazing cake recipe? You can use Rewind’s search engine to help find it. Additionally, you can use Rewind to remember important details that were said at the end of a meeting you attended yesterday, or to help you solve problems in other ways.
Your own personal AI assistant
ChatGPT for Me enhances this experience by helping to not only provide the source of the insights you are looking for, but also being able to quickly summarize them into a concise piece of text.
As shown in the ChatGPT for Me demo, a user can ask “How do I know Sam Altman” and the bot provides a quick description of Altman, his relationship to the questioner, and the source from which it received this information (including email messages, YouTube videos, and social media profiles).
Besides being able to recall your memory with summaries, ChatGPT for me can make it easier to find information from the Rewind timeline. If you’re trying to find that recipe, but the phrase “cake recipe” doesn’t actually appear on the page you want, it’s possible that Rewind won’t find what you’re looking for. ChatGPT for Me can obviously be asked to search for terms that are only similar to what you’re looking for and can therefore help locate that intriguing-sounding ‘Batenburg recipe’.
