Chantelle Cameron gets the undisputed shot: Super lightweight win for McCaskill
Chantelle Cameron will get her crack at all the marbles before the end of the year.
Superweight Northampton will face undisputed weight queen Jessica McCaskill on November 5.
The pair will clash at Etihad Stadium in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, live streamed exclusively on DAZN.
Cameron (16-0.8 KO) won the famed 140lbs gold and blue WBC world title by widely knocking out Brazil’s Adriana dos Santos Araujo behind the doors closing the main event of all the action at the House competed in the O2 in London last October.
‘Il Capo’, coached by Jamie Moore and Nigel Travis, held on to his title with another unanimous decision point with a win over Katie Taylor’s former rival Victoria Noelia Bustos in May.
McCaskill (12-2.5 KOs) dropped weights to advance her pound-for-pound certification, having won the WBA Super, WBC, IBO, IBF and WBO world titles by 147lb ahead of the grandmaster. Longtime ruler Cecilia Braekhus returned in August 2020 before making three successful defenses of Stateside, including a rematch against Colombian-born Norweigian Braekhus.

In one Press Release he say:
“So far, Chantelle hasn’t misplaced a single foot in her career but she knows she faces her toughest test to date against Chicago’s undisputed stellar weight leader Jessica. McCaskill, who returns 140 lbs for another great shot.”
The first of the ‘Champion Series’ cards was topped by WBA light-heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol as he placed his belt against Mexican mandatory Gilberto Ramirez and Joe Cordina will introduce in the lower division as the Welshman defended his first featherweight title against Shavkat Rakhimov.
