CES 2023: OtterBox launches OtterGrip symmetric iPhone cases
OtterBox on Tuesday announced its newest iPhone case, OtterGrip . Symmetrical Series for iPhone 12 and 12 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 14, previous CES 2023. OtterBox Symmetry cases are known to be thinner than sturdier protective casewhile still providing an extra layer of protection.
With the OtterGrip version of the Symmetry Series, the OtterBox retains the Symmetrical style but adds a handy tool — a built-in handle in the case.
You pull it out, similar to how the Pop Socket works, slide a few fingers into the grip, then when you’re done, you push it back. The grip rotates 360 degrees so you don’t get locked into a directional position.

The OtterGrip Symmetric Series carrying case is coming next month for $60 and comes in a variety of colors and patterns. The case was named a CES Innovation Award Honoree. (Read more about Innovative technology at CES 2023 is here).
Best of all? OtterBox has taken the time to ensure that the handle won’t interfere with Apple’s MagSafe technology. That is, you can still attach MagSafe accessoriesincluding the charger, into the case and it will not interfere.

The pop-out handle isn’t sturdy enough to act as a stand, but OtterBox has a solution to that problem, too: the OtterBox Post Up for MagSafe. The $25 accessory attaches to the back of your iPhone MagSafe and acts as a stand to prop your phone up during binge-watching Netflix sessions or FaceTime calls.
