Candidates must be responsible, proactive, dynamic, detail-oriented and eager to learn about the world of hairstyling. This is a fast-paced and often stressful position, and candidates must keep up the good work. Hours can vary but are often long and some weekends are required. Intern duties include but are not limited to: Check-in and return, assist and attend celebrity showcases, editing and filming/advertising, attending department appointments exhibit, communicate with PR contacts and galleries, complete daily administrative tasks and projects, etc.
Applicant must be a local to LA and have reliable transportation. Should be highly organized, multi-tasking, honest, dedicated and hard-working. Must attend college and be able to receive college credit. This position is unpaid.
Prudence is key because we work with many top-level clients and they take their privacy seriously. We usually deal with many confidential and private matters and such cases should be treated as such.
