Dior Men’s Artistic Director Kim Jones invited celebrity guests to his spring/summer 2023 Venice Beach show in Los Angeles, marking the beginning of a new capsule collection approach for the brand, which will recruit guest designers to combine their own creative DNA with the iconic French fashion house. There are also swirly pastel fur coats, embroidered “California Couture” turtlenecks and soft bucket hats that reflect the careful consideration of texture in the collection as a whole.
Together, Jones and Linnetz revived an old Dior logo with the addition of a bold flower and “ERL” logo on the side. You can spot it on everything from skates and jacket pockets to the neon sign that provides a backdrop for attendees to pose before taking their seats for the show.
