CBI grills Delhi deputy CM Manish Sisodia for 9 hours in excise policy case | Delhi News

NEW DELHI: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday questioned Delhi deputy director Manish Sisodia for more than nine hours in connection with the alleged fraud in excise policy being investigated by it.

Before arriving at the central investigative agency headquarters, Sisodia went to his party office in the morning from where he went to Rajghat.
A large number of his supporters gathered outside his residence and made their way with him to the CBI office.
CBI registered the FIR in a special court in Delhi in August against Sisodia and 14 others under different sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including 120B (criminal conspiracy) and 477A (forgery of records), and section 7 of the Anti-Corruption Act, which deals with excessive use of influence to influence a public official by corrupt or illegal means or by personal influence.
