Nintendo and Illumination have released a new trailer revealing Mario’s famous cat suit as well as more details about Seth Rogen’s Donkey Kong.
Released during one of yesterday’s big NFL games, the trailer is short and engaging, but features about 10 seconds of new footage from The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which hits theaters on April 7. In it, we see Donkey Kong start pummel Mario, which is the clip we’ve seen before, before Mario ticks the “?” block. This gives him the power of the cat suit, and while it’s useful in the game, that doesn’t seem to be the case here as Rogen’s Donkey Kong starts mocking Mario’s suit and dependency. in it.

As you can see, this is the best Donkey Kong dialogue we’ve ever heard in a trailer for the Super Mario Bros. Movie. and it’s revealed that Rogen’s character is basically just him, complete with his signature laugh. This clip is another clip that looks great and we can’t wait for the movie to hit theaters in a few months on April 7th.
