Carlos Alcaraz beat Frances Tiafoe, into Open final
Carlos Alcaraz is relentless on the tennis court, and he showed on Friday night just how hard he is to beat.
Alcaraz faced Frances Tiafoe in the semi-finals of the US Open. The 19-year-old was served 5-6 in the first set and had the advantage.
He serves Tiafoe’s body and knocks down his opponent after a brief return. Tiafoe chased the shot and sent Alcaraz sprinting. Somehow, Alcaraz got the ball, and then Tiafoe hit a volley that fell to the other side of the field. Alcaraz chases that too, and then Tiafoe tries to volley past him.
Alcaraz chased the third difficult ball in a row and this time was the winner.
