Cardi B Talks About Her Feature On Summer Walker’s ‘No Love’ Remix: “Them Vocal Is Raw”
Summer Walker taps on Cardi B participates Her hit song “No Love” featuring SZA. The original song is one of 18 songs in the album Summer 2021 Still through it. After its release on March 25th, the expanded version had a high position on the online discussion list. And much of the attention in the filing has been on Cardi’s feature.
Cardi’s vocals
The female artist chose to focus more on her voice instead of the usual rap lines and powerful lines. More than 12 hours after the song and music video were removed, Cardi talked to her about her vocals on the track.
“If you think you can sing my voice in the no love expansion you’re a clown,” Cardi tweeted. “Let me watch you guys do it, any song that beats Bardi Barey I’ll give them 1k, their vocals are raw!”
After Shade room posted her tweet, Cardi jumped into the comments section with additional words.
“Ya HATE BARDI J BLIGE… .. I AM JUST WANNA WILL WELCOME ALL OF YOU FOR THE WEEK,” she wrote.
The four-and-a-half-minute video begins with Cardi and Summer sitting on a covered bed while it hovers above pink and purple clouds. After a short vocal intro by summerCardi followed suit in her own voice – softly singing along to her lyrics.
“Because you played because I was faithful, no question, boy,” Cardi raps on the record. “I got ten toes down (Ten toe down) / Had contact with n **** s that person wanted to be with.”
Cardi prepared fans with another sound before the song was released.
“Ommmmmggg I’m so excited and nervous,” Cardi wrote as the caption of the cover photo was posted on her Instagram page. “I’ve never heard it the way I do on this record, but I love it.”
Awards coming soon
Based on Chart Data, Expansion song has landed at 74 on the US Spotify chart after 372,000 streams. It also broke into the top 10 on US iTunes.
And the music video for the remixed single featuring all three stars exudes ghostly, seductive, and powerful vibes. It jumped midway through the trend at first and second on YouTube US.
Summer and Cardi show love
Ahead of the extended song’s release, Cardi and Summer shared it on Instagram Live. Cardi said nervously when she received the opportunity to participate.
Cardi said: “I was stuck, I was dumbfounded, I didn’t know what f**k to do. “Because this is one of my favorite songs… it’s a great song… I was like ‘oh my god, I’m scared because this is like one of the best songs and everyone loves the song. this.’ And it’s like I don’t want to stick to it and people don’t like it and everything, but I think I did a good job.”
Later in the live, Summer praised Cardi for being easy to work with.
“I also want to tell you thanks for being humble as f**k, being nice and not making things difficult,” Summer told Cardi. “Not rude, not stuck, no such thing. You have come down to Earth a lot and I appreciate that very much.”
