Cardi posted the reaction after a troll shared the meme on October 1, which was captioned, “The man ate that thing” and showed the Nickelodeon cartoon character looking down at his cell phone. “This is how @OffsetYRN became a random woman when @iamcardib was away,” it said.
Cardi has not been harsh in her defense of her relationship with her husband of five years. Just days before the malicious exchange on Twitter, she took to Instagram to post a snap of her skin behind as she got intimate with the father of her two children. The duo temporarily split in December 2018 when Offset was accused of cheating on his famous wife. “When my husband and I got into our problems – you know, he cheated and everything – and I decided stay with him and working with him, a lot of people were very angry with me; a lot of women feel down on me,” Cardi said Vogue in December 2019. “But that’s sh** in real life. If you’re in love with someone and you’re not with them, and you’re depressed and social media says you shouldn’t talk to that person because he cheated, then you’re really not happy until you chat. .
