Cardi B, Offset and Kulture to appear on Nickelodeon’s ‘Baby Shark’s Big Show’


Cardi B is reportedly set to play a cameo on the Nickelodeon series ‘Baby Shark’s Big Show.’ But, she wouldn’t be starring in the animated waters without her husband Offset and their daughter Kulture by her side. Talk about family goals! Each family member will voice shark characters inspired by the family’s real name and life. Cardi took to Instagram on Thursday night to confirm the news.

“Make sure you and your baby watch the episode about me and my family on the BABYSHARK series on Nickelodeon,” she wrote in the caption of her post.

Along with the caption, the artist also posted a tweet about the opportunity, a teaser video of the episode, and an adorable clip of Kulture. offer her lines in the studio. Based on Advertising panel, Cardi will be the guest as Sharki B while Offset takes on the character ‘Offshark’ and Kulture voices ‘Kulture Shark.’ A press release provided more details on the role of Cardi, who appears to be the main guest of the film.

As you may already know, the show is based on the popular song and video ‘Baby Shark Dance’ by Pinkfong. Video received more than 10.3 billion views since 2016. Its sequel series debuted on Nick Jr. in December 2020. Per Billboard’s reports, a film based on the video will be released in 2023.

Apparently, the episode will feature the main character Baby Shark and his best friend William. Baby sharks have a chance to meet Sharki B. She teaches them the viral song and dance ‘The Seaweed Sway’.

In the 38-second preview clip, Cardi can be heard singing “swim left, swim right, now spin and shake the seaweed.” At one point in the preview, Offshark and well-dressed Kulture Shark join Sharki B in her underwater shot performance. The episode will air on April 15.

“I got here by doing things my own Sharki B way,” Cardi’s character says in the preview clip.

Cardi makes history

And even though the line is part of the episode, it still holds true for the award-winning artist. She has climbed to the top of the music charts in a relatively short period of time and continues to do Cross Hollywood. On Friday, Cardi B’s debut studio album ‘Invasion of Privacy’ set another record.

Cardi called the achievement “awesome”, expressed excitement for her second album and thanked fans for the love and support in a tweet.
