Candace Owens Suggests She Should Sue George Floyd’s Family

Candace Owens is exploring her legal options to fight George Floydof the family. This move is seen as a response to $250 million lawsuit against Ye Because “Harassment, defamation and emotional distress.”

Last week, Roxie Washington, mother of daughter Floyd, announced she is suing the artist on behalf of her child. The lawsuit says Ye’s rebuttal claims about George Floyd’s death were for personal gain to restore his daughter’s health.

“They hit [George] with fentanyl,” Ye said on the podcast Drinking Champagne. “If you look, the boys’ knees aren’t even [Floyd’s] such ancient. “

Ye’s appearance on Drink Champs, dotted with inaccurate and insensitive claims, has caused so much controversy that the NORE host went on an apologetic tour early last week for it. The rapper’s comments, especially the anti-Semitic talks, also seem to light up the match under some partnership, including Balenciaga.

Candace claims she has grounds to sue Floyd’s family

Meanwhile, leading up to the announcement of the lawsuit, Owens clapped back at online users as they discussed Floyd’s family potentially suing her.

“I think you should look at how defamation laws work in this country,” Candance replied to a Twitter critic. “Did you know that truth is an absolute defense against it? Did they take Floyd’s stuff? Did Floyd not say “I can’t breathe” before he was placed on the ground? ‘Suing her’ is not an argument. “

And the conservative commentator added her attack on the family’s lawsuit claims on a podcast episode. She revealed plans to determine the legality of suing the family.

“I am also fed up with frivolous lawsuits. You know, if this is really supposed to be credible, if you can sue someone because you’re feeling ’emotionally miserable’ because they go out and say things, well, well, I think that I have grounds to sue the estate of George Floyd,” Candace said on a podcast episode.

But Floyd’s family believes there is a financial intention behind Ye’s words. Their outfits speak for rappers “Deliberately made blatantly false statements about the death of George Floyd to promote its brand and increase its marketing and revenue value.”

Ye’s statement about fentanyl contradicts In 2021, convicted of murder of the Derek Chauvin. According to the trial’s evidence, Floyd died after Derek restricted his oxygen supply for nearly 10 minutes with his knee in his neck – an inhuman act witnessed by the world on video.

The jury found former Minneapolis officer commit second-degree murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter in 2021. By June, a the judge convicts Derek to 22.5 years for the crime. This year, the court gave Chauvin an additional 22 years to serve simultaneously for Floyd’s civil rights violation.

However, Ye chose to put Candace’s documentary talking points on a national platform.

Owens Labels Family Lawsuit A “mini PR stunt”

Regardless of the outcome of the trial, the online backlash to fentanyl’s claims, or Ye’s public silence about the lawsuit, Candace continued with her applause. The presenter withdrew language from the lawsuit to express disagreement with the family’s decision.

“I have grounds to sue the family of George Floyd for making this small PR. It makes me very miserable,” said Candace. “I feel angry and I am annoyed with the fact that I am fighting for Black America to be freed from lies, while these people are fighting to keep them in the dark.”

At this point, it remains unclear whether Candace has determined the legitimacy of a lawsuit against Floyd’s family. Ye continues to keep quiet on social media about the incident and all developments around her.
