Just when you think Paper girl Back in 1988, the Prime video series pulled a final twist on us. In the final moments of the finale, Tiffany and Erin believe their car is taking them home. When they emerged, they found themselves in the 1970s. Meanwhile, we don’t know where KJ and Mac ended up. HollywoodLife spoke EXCLUSIVELY with Camryn Jones about her reaction to the finale.

“The first time I read it, I was sitting in a van on my way back from filming. They sent the scripts and we all started reading them in the car. I was sitting right next to Riley [Lai Nelet] actually. We said, ‘Oh, this is great.’ It was truly the best experience. I really care that it’s the epilogue because I like the actor. I think it’s great, and I’m excited to actually shoot it,” said Camryn, who played young Tiff.

The young actress admitted that the split between Tiff, Erin, KJ and Mac would “allow the two girls’ relationships to come closer together. I think it will be interesting to see how the dynamics will adapt or change or maybe even change when the girls may or may not reunite. “

The end of season 1 leaves the door wide open for season 2. Camryn revealed that she’d love to see more of Tiff’s development. “I would love to see how our relationship with Erin will develop as they will be together,” revealed Camryn. “I would love to see how her relationship with the other two girls develops in the future. But I also really want to see comic elements that weren’t used in season 1 present in season 2.

The four core characters of Paper girl All attractive in their own way. Camryn’s favorite Tiff is “the curious, encyclopedic fireball. She is a born leader. But I think what really struck me at first, the connection between us, was relativity. As soon as I read those comics, I can think of Tiff. I can sympathize with her. I can feel her struggle. Plus, I really admire how smart she is and how she always has a growth mindset. She doesn’t want to settle down where she is. She was always curious to learn more. I love how she is passionate about the things she wants and how she will do anything to accomplish her goals.”

When the girls travel back in time to 1999, Tiff encounters an old version of herself, do Sekai Abeni. “It really doesn’t feel like I’m splitting Tiff in half or giving it away,” says Camryn HollywoodLife about working with Sekai. “It feels like Tiff grew up with me. I mean, we skipped a couple of years, but it was really cool to play with her because she would come and we would eat while working on our script, so we could find out. about each other’s behavior and content. “

Tiff was shocked to see the big changes in Tiffany as an adult, and we later learned that Tiffany had been adopted. While Camryn admits her mother’s keeping this secret was “devastating” for Tiff, she hopes that if Tiff goes back to 1988 and remembers what she knows she will confront her mother sooner. about that. “I feel like there will be more time for that healing process, and it won’t allow so much resentment towards their mother as Tiff matures. But if they don’t remember, will time stay the same? That’s the real question,” said Camryn.

Camryn wants to continue to mold Sekai’s version of himself and Tiff into an evolved version of the character in the future. “I would say she will make sure she goes down the path she wants to be when she is 12, but I think she still wants to retain some of the elements that grown-up Tiff has, like the way she happy and how she. is following her own heart and not what her mother wanted for her,” said Camryn. HollywoodLife.

While filming Paper girl, the 15-year-old admits that the show opened up a lot of “philosophical questions” for her. “Would I be happy if I didn’t become what I am now? Will I be happy if my future is happy? In the second question, I think the answer is yes. Because as long as I’m happy in the future, I don’t really care if that’s the ideal version of me right now. The show opened up a lot of questions for me, but it also provided answers because I had to live through my questions,” says Camryn. Paper girl currently streaming on Prime Video.
