Camila Alves was on a crazy turbulent Lufthansa flight – Hollywood Life

by Matthew McConaughey wife, Camila Alves, underwent a terrifying ordeal on a Lufthansa flight on March 1, leaving seven passengers hospitalized. Camila brought Instagram to share a short video of the aftermath of the severe commotion, in which food, napkins and more were strewn across the flight deck. Camila revealed: “I was told that the plane had crashed almost 4,000 feet. “Seven people went to the hospital. Everything is flying everywhere.” The plane was en route from Texas to Germany at the time, and chaos ensued about 90 minutes into the journey.

To protect the privacy of those around on the plane, Camila shared only a glimpse of the scene, but expanded on what the situation was like in her caption. “The plane was CHAOS,” she continued. “Chaos [kept] arrival.” She confirmed that everyone is “safe and fine.” The plane had to make an emergency landing in Virginia, just off Washington DC, and Camila thanked the Marriott Bonvoy for putting her in a hotel for the night.

She also seems to reveal that Matthew may have been with her at the time of the incident, or at least met her at the hotel, adding, “[Matthew] and I made it to the bar with a minute before closing…good night, on a new flight today. I continue the journey.”

On March 2, Camila took to her Instagram Story to give another update. Although she was on a rescheduled flight, she revealed that the pilot said the plane would experience about “45 minutes of turbulence” during its journey. “Just my luck,” she added.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority confirmed that seven people were transported to hospital with “minor injuries” following the emergency landing. “This is called apparent turbulence, which can happen without obvious weather phenomena or advance warning,” he said. CNN. The FAA added that the flight began experiencing turbulence at an altitude of about 37,000 feet as it flew over Tennessee.
