Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 will officially land on November 16, bringing Modern War II environment, gameplay and technology for a large-scale battlefield. Modern War II and Warzone 2.0 will mark a turning point for the Call of Duty franchise, with a focus on cross-development and shared technology between its various versions. Warzone 2.0 will serve as an extension of MWII multiplayer, set in a fictional region of West Asia called Al Mazrah. This AI system will also work in Warzone 2.0. Both titles will use Activision’s Ricochet Anti-Cheata kernel-level solution that monitors your system while games are running.
MWII multiplayer emphasizes amphibious play, stealth combat, and vehicles, and later this year it will feature a new 3 v-3 Raids mode. The MWII The multiplayer open beta will release live on September 16 on PlayStation and September 22 on Xbox and PC (and still PlayStation). This will be open to those who have pre-ordered the game.
Warzone 2.0 will play for free, just like its grandpa, Battlefield.
