Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 May Get Custom Killcams – Report

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II could get customizable killcams in the future, according to a leaker that has accurately revealed unannounced details about the game in the past.

News from RalphsValves (through the Internal games) as two tweets. A tweet claims players will be able to choose between Final Kills or Play of the Game sequences in a future update, and that each will be highly customizable with the ability to display messages, GIFs, some tones, and more. certain bars and more. There will also be templates for players to choose from.

In a follow-up tweet, RalphsValve posted an image of a Patent of Activision Blizzard application for “System and method for customizing playback of one or more game events in video games.” The patent is listed with a publication date of October 20, 2022, and shows an artist showing off a screenshot from a game that looks extremely similar to Call of Duty. It shows the ability to add or edit graphics, messages, audio and video as part of the “playback custom interface”. If there’s any question about the patent for Call of Duty, the mockup even includes the names of famous perks like Scavenger, Cold-Blooded, and Ninja.

It is unclear whether RalphsValve’s claim that Modern Warfare II will receive customizable Final Kills or Play of the Games is based on additional insider knowledge or solely on the aforementioned patent. Game companies are always filing patents for new features, and the fact that a patent exists doesn’t mean the feature is live or coming.

However, Modern Warfare II receiving such a feature would not be out of the field. A similar, albeit much simpler, version of the alleged feature will be available in 2021 Call of Duty: Vanguardallows the player to choose different borders for its kill machines.

The The first season of Modern Warfare II will start on November 16 with the launch of Warzone 2.0 free-to-play, bring major changes to the game’s battle and Reputation system. Fans recently got their first hands-on look at Warzone 2.0’s battle royale gameplay, as well as preview of its new Escape-From-Tarkov-inspired DMZ mode.
