Burrow ‘feels better,’ but still no timetable for return

Cincinnati Bengals full-back Joe Burrow used to is considered “day in and day out” is about to have the appendectomy he requested at the end of July.

Recently, Burrow has been spotted at medical trolley operations, but Ben Baby ESPN’s reported that the 25-year-old “did an impromptu light walk with his top wide receiver and tight late Hayden Hurst” which included the signal caller tossing multiple lines pass for the first time since the procedure on Monday.

“He’s feeling better,” Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan told Baby about Burrow. “So I just asked him if he wanted to do it and he said, ‘Yes.'”

Callahan also said that Burrow will “return to full strength sooner here, hopefully.”

Burrow may have been more active on Monday than in previous training appearances, but head coach Zac Taylor was quick to point out that he still doesn’t have a timetable for when the pro player of the year will be. three will fully return to work. Team Bengal host the Arizona Cardinals in their pre-season opener on Friday, and expect Burrow to be in the audience for that game.

“I think what you see is what you get,” Taylor added of Burrow. “He seems good to me. He’s starting to get better every day. Again, I don’t want to put a timeline on when he gets out of here and starts throwing stuff, but it’s worth it. encourage.”

Backup Brandon Allen and Jake Browning will continue to see additional representation presumably through the contest at least on Friday. Team Bengal played at the New York Giants in their second pre-season game on August 21.
