Bun B Claims THIS City Has Better Food Than Atlanta (VIDEO)
Chile! Cake B It’s not all about food in Atlanta! Now, his opinion on which city has more great eateries is sparking a foodie debate on social media.
Bun B Reveals Which City Is Top for Food in Atlanta
Bun B made it clear that Houston wins the crown over Atlanta, mainly when it comes to food. He said on an episode of ‘Honey Drip Network & Aristotle’ Newsletterreleased on August 6. The rapper shares why he thinks ATL is failing when it comes to fine dining.
“You guys just miss the food,” Bun B said of Atlanta. “You guys just miss the food, like you have these great restaurants with great ambiance and experiences and all that, but no one is cooking in your stuff. I don’t feel like that in Atlanta.”
He was quick to suggest he could be “totally wrong,” but the interviewer — an Atlanta native — agreed with Bun B’s sentiment. Additionally, the Texas rapper said the Georgia city doesn’t know how to differentiate a restaurant from a nightclub.
“Right now, I think the restaurant scene in Atlanta is built too much around the experience,” Bun B said. “They want people to come in, and they want to look like they’re down and sound like they’re down. People dancing and everything, but that’s what you’re aiming for. Like you can have some chicken wings and some mac and cheese, but you’re not really aiming for a full dining experience.”
The host responded that Houston did the same. But the UGK icon insisted that Houston could “back up” with the flavor of the dish.
“But the thing is, our food can support that because look at where we are. You have a lot of people living in Houston who are from or have deep roots in Louisiana,” B added.
When the host joked about “people” saying Atlanta has “disgusting” food, Bun B clarified that he wasn’t calling the food disgusting. Instead, he wanted to point out that ATL is just “disgusting.”[puts] a lot on experience.”

Rapper Talks About Similarities Between ATL and Houston
Today, Bun B says he thinks Houston and Atlanta are both famous for their nightlife, calling it “the best black nightlife in America.”
“I think it has to do with Southern hospitality. You go to a nightclub in LA; you don’t feel welcome. You go to a nightclub in New York, if you can get into a nightclub in New York. But in the South, we want people to come and have a good time. I think the numbers work better. Obviously the nightlife prices are inflated, but not as inflated as New York, or Vegas, or Miami, or LA.
He added that Atlanta and Houston have a similar “quality of life” and the cost of living is “pretty close.” According to Nerd WalletThe cost of living in Houston is about three percent lower than in the Georgia city.
