According to a Released from NBA.com, this will be the first time the Pistons have played in France. Detroit previously played the game abroad in London (2013) and Mexico City (2019).
“NBA Paris Game 2023 will mark the first NBA game in Europe since 2020 and the league’s 12th game in France since 1991,” the statement said. “NBA Paris Game 2020 – the first NBA season game in Paris – takes place on January 24, 2020 and features the Charlotte Hornets and Milwaukee Bucks.”
