Tesla Model S Plaid beat Bugatti Divo in first drag race.
Bugatti Divo and Tesla The Plaid S model is two of the fastest produced cars in automotive history, and the folks at DragTimes have pitted these models head-to-head at the drag strip. The Bugatti Divo has an estimated value of $8 million while the Tesla Model S Plaid comes in at just $0.1 million, but both of these cars clocked under 9.5 miles a quarter second on paper. with the starting time.
The DragTimes team produced a video of the two fastest production cars going head-to-head in a drag race. The video begins with a rolling race from a distance of 40 mph and in it, the million-dollar Bugatti Divo is left in the dust. Even with the added benefit of a small runway at the start, it still can’t keep up with Tesla Model WILL Plaid goes a bit faster though.

But that’s all we can get from this pairing. Before the second race, the Tesla hit something on the return journey and its lower front diffuser had to be repaired before it could run again. Thus, Divo can be seen pitted against a Porsche 911 turbocharger S, which it defeats quite easily.
Then we’ll see a few test passes in the Divo, the last of which, obviously, set ICE’s new drag racing record. In the video, we see the Bugatti Divo set the time to 9.27 seconds.
In the final race, once again Tesla and Bugatti had a chance to go head-to-head but the result seemed to be a disappointment. The Tesla robot launched like a real lightning bolt but happened far from the starting line. On the other hand, the Bugatti rolls quite sluggishly before applying full engine power.
