Broncos LB Jonas Griffith injured his elbow in team’s pre-season opener
A former Indiana State untrained free agent, fullback Jonas Griffith enters his third NFL season as a Dancer broncos Support program begins.
Griffith, 25, joined several other Broncos defenders to start the team pre-season opener against the Dallas Cowboys Saturday night. The arrivals of these players were short-lived with the full-back suffering a seemingly serious elbow injury just 40 seconds into the game.
Griffith was seen on the pitch at Mile High looking in pain as he left the dressing room. Denver almost instantly exclude him for the rest of the game.
These are the problems that occur with the teams that decided to play the starting game last season. Those against the pre-season games actually being played can also use the same injury as a way to make their point.
From a micro-perspective, this could prove to be a big deal for a Broncos team competing for the Super Bowl that is already thin on liners.
