The statement came after Britney’s August 10th Instagram post, which has since been deleted, where she claims that Kevin told her he would “never let them make that decision for themselves”. Lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplantold TMZ that Britney’s sons haven’t seen her in five months because of “annoying messages” they allegedly received from her, as well as because they “feel uncomfortable around her.”
In his attorney’s statement, he asserted that Kevin “never trashed” Britney with the boys. “Kevin believes the boys love their mother, but they are mad at her,” Kaplan added. “They finally made their own decisions and they decided not to see their mother, at least for now.” Both boys skipped Britney’s wedding to Sam Asghari in June.
During Britney’s Instagram speech on August 10, she stated that Sean and Jayden were “obnoxious” when they came to her house. “They would visit me, walk in the door, go straight to their room and lock the door,” she wrote.
The public drama between Britney and her ex-husband began earlier this week when information from a one-on-one interview Kevin did with ITV surfaced online. During the interview, Kevin revealed that teenagers are now choosing not to see their mothers. “They haven’t seen her in a few months,” he admitted. “They decided not to go to her wedding.” Kevin also suggested that Britney’s sexy photos and videos on Instagram were a big part of the reason the boys decided to separate.
Reply, Britney is on Instagram criticized Kevin for bringing their family drama to the masses. Britney wrote: “I am saddened to hear that my ex-husband has decided to discuss my relationship with our children. “As we all know, raising teenage boys is never easy for anyone.” She also defended her Instagram content, pointing out that she had been under close scrutiny during her 13 years in her managerial role and was finally free to do what she wanted. “I should be doing more WAAAY than going topless on the beach like a kid!!!” she confirmed.
