He visited the woman’s home in April 2020 when she requested a two-hour full body massage.

The court said he immediately dismissed the inappropriate touching when asked by the woman to stop.
In a phone call arranged by police after the sexual assault, Shaw denied any wrongdoing, but apologized to the woman for any discomfort or offense he caused. .
He will have to appear in court after the woman testifies in the hearing before agreeing to plead guilty.
The court said Shaw came from India to study in Australia in 2008 before naturalizing about a decade later.
Judge Ken Barlow of the Brisbane District Court said Shaw had no criminal record and wrote a letter of apology to the woman, who wished for a professional masseuse to safely and respectfully provide her services. important at her home.

Shaw has returned to work as an accountant while his pregnant wife is the primary caregiver for their two-year-old son.
Judge Barlow sentenced Shaw to six months behind bars, suspended entirely for a year.
