Brian Daboll wins Giants debut after intrepid 2-point conversion call

Brian Daboll showed some great courage in his New York Giants head coach debut.

Daboll’s Giants beat the Tennessee Titans 21-20 after the Titans’ starter, Randy Bullock, missed a 47-yard scoring attempt with seconds left. But what was before the Titans took possession was where Daboll made his mark.

The Giants were once down 13-0 and lasted almost the entire game. But in the fourth half, they drove 73 yards over 12 innings and scored the winning goal with a 1:06 left score. That’s 20-19.

Instead of trying to get more points, Daboll decided to take 2 and take the lead. Playcall is creative, but the Titans have two players in the back yard who look sure to make a save. Saquon Barkley dashed past them and dashed into the end area for a 2 point switch.
