The official statement, jointly published by Equibase and Keeneland, reads as follows:
During the run of the GI Longines Breeders’ Cup Classic on November 5, 2022, in Keeneland, the eye of time for the third quarter was accidentally stumbled upon by a superior as he was finding his way to trend Pull up Epicenter. The backup time was 1:09.62 generated on race day for that part. As per Equibase policy, segmentation time must undergo a comprehensive video review to verify its accuracy. After review, it was determined that three quarters of the time for Classic was 1:09.27. No other times are affected, including the last time of 2:00.05.
