Early estimates suggest that the film added Rs 8 crore to its total on day eight at the box office, a final figure possibly even higher. Saturday’s ‘Brahmastra’ collection is expected to be pretty good, helping the movie to become a blockbuster. Interestingly, ‘Brahmastra’ has garnered a positive response for its Telugu version and continues to trend in the Nizam/Andhra circuit. According to the movie results obtained on its second Friday, it looks like ‘Brahmastra’ will be here to stay for another good week.

Talking about the mixed reviews the film has received, Ayan Mukerji recently said, “I just focus on positive energy. I know that many kinds of reviews have come. I haven’t been able to absorb all those reviews, be it negative reviews, fan theories or what people don’t like. I will do that when the time comes. I will consider all of that before moving on to season two.” The filmmaker plans to introduce new characters in the sequel, which is said to be titled ‘Brahmastra: Part 2 – Dev’.
