Boxing Results: Saul “Canelo” Alvarez Beats John Ryder!

During the Main Event WBA, WBC, WBO and IBF World Middleweight Champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, 59-2-2 (39), #167.5, of Guadalajara, Jalisco, MEX, WBO Interim Champion John ‘The Gorilla’ Ryder, 32-6 (18), #168, by Islington, London, UK, 12 innings.

In the third round, Alvarez took Ryder’s nosebleed. In the fifth inning, Alvarez made a combination and shoved Ryder into the net as Referee Mike Griffin counted eight. From Friday to ninth, it’s all Alvarez’s.

In the first round, Martinez made a headbutt on the right that made Batista stagger. Batista makes a left hook to the bell. In the third round, Spark landed three left hooks before landing a right hook that sent Gollaz staggering backwards. Spark ended the round with a few more left hooks. In the sixth inning, Gollaz landed messily, knocking Spark’s knee into the canvas with a score of 8. At the end of the second half again, a pounding attack from Gollaz sent Spark reeling.
